Looking for mid or senior level database developer with minimum of 5 to 10 years experience, ideally working in the financial IT community. Individual must possess excellent database design and development skills working with Sybase Adaptive Server, DB2, or other RDBMS. Strong data modeling experience is a plus. Candidate should be proficient in creating/modifying tables, indexes, and stored procedures, and should have experiences working with large volumes of data. In depth experience working in the UNIX/Linux environment is necessary. Perl/scripting knowledge also desirable.

Individual must be self-starter and able to work within a large team. Individual must possess strong analytical skills and should be prepared to step up into a technical lead role if the opportunity arises. Above all else, individual must be an excellent communicator.

The role is in the Regulatory IT group to assist in the upgrade of regulatory application in support of the migration to financial holding company status and regulation under the Federal Reserve. Will work closely with other team members responsible for separate components, as well as with the Controller user community
